Harry Parfitt

Harry holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Major: Governance) and a master’s degree in Global Studies, both from University of Freiburg, Germany. He has also studied in Austria (Universität Wien), South Africa (University of Cape Town), and India (Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi). For his MA thesis he conducted an ethnographic study of working conditions in the German platform delivery sector. His Excellence Scholarship funded by the Digital Society Initiative will allow him to develop a PhD project at the intersection of labour and digitalisation.
