Roy Adrian Rutishauser

I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Zurich since February 2021, and I am supervised by Prof. Thomas Fritz.

My research explores how software engineers manage information discovered on the Web – how they use, store, and rediscover it - and how they can best share this valuable information with collaborators efficiently.

More concretely, we devise approaches that help software developers create lightweight structures to keep track of their knowledge more naturally. Often, our systems revolve around the semi-automatic curation of implicit knowledge. The central idea of this principle is the manual, yet effortless, curation of automatically generated links between blocks of information in small and incremental steps.

I received my master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Zurich in 2019.
